Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
